Job Description:
Software Test and Automation Engineer in the WLAN - BT/LTE Coex Software Verification team. The job involves development of highly scalable, reliable, and maintainable test automation solutions towards testing of Embedded Wireless LAN and Bluetooth products. You will also be required to perform manual tests for different test areas including feature/functional, performance and stability/stress. We are looking for a self-motivated and dynamic individual with strong technical and interpersonal skills who can contribute to a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Build and extend test frameworks and test scripts (you must know how to write automation tests rather than simply execute them)
Identify effective test strategies for new/existing features of our wireless software (WLAN - BT/LTE Coex) and craft test plans accordingly
Automate test cases written and execute as part of new feature testing; enabling automated regression runs for subsequent releases.
Required Skillset:
3+ years of SW test and automation experience
B.S /M.S degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
Strong programming skills in Python
Ability to define/design/develop/maintain test automation/scripts
Understanding of networking concept (TCP/IP)
Very strong problem-solving skills
Desired Skillset:
Understanding of Wi-Fi - BT/LTE Coexistence
Understanding of wireless basics (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
Understanding of Wi-Fi - BT/LTE Coexistence
Experience with Jenkins
