Key Responsibilities:- As a Data Modeler, you will be responsible for working closely with key business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects to model both current and new data.
- You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
- Providing solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams is a vital part of this role.
- Develop and refine data models that align with business requirements and technical standards.
- Support less experienced colleagues by sharing expertise and providing guidance on data modeling best practices.
- Analyze complex data structures and propose improvements to enhance data quality and accessibility.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure data solutions meet organizational goals and compliance standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management processes and tools to elevate overall team performance.
Note: role requires 80% onsite client work in Pennington, NJ or Jersey City, NJ and client mandated time away 5 days per quarter
Basic Qualifications:- 5+ years of IT work experience
- Software Engineer with experience in Data Modeling, Virtualization, Data Analytics,
- Experience in Python, SQL
- Advanced proficiency in Data Virtualization
- Associates degree
Preferred Qualifications:- Advanced proficiency in Python Programming Language
- Advanced proficiency in Data Modeling Oracle SQL Developer and Data Analytics
- Good Communication and Leadership skillset
- Experience in QUARTZ Framework
- Banking Finance domain knowledge and experience will be considered a strong advantage
