Bechtel Infrastructure will work in a Delivery Partner role within an integrated team with the customer organization for a Subway Project in Toronto, Ontario. The project scope includes the design build, operations and maintenance of all infrastructure and rail systems associated with 15 stations and over 15km of new alignment, being performed by three key PPP Contractors and multiple advanced early works (EAW) packages Contractors. Bechtel form a key component of the overall Integrated Project Delivery team (comprising the customer, MX; the Technical Advisor, and Bechtel as the Delivery Partner).
Job Summary:The Program Assurance Technical Support provides assists the Assurance Delivery Manager in providing overall cross delivery area guidance, bringing assurance structure, standardization, efficiency and solution minded approaches to all delivery areas. He/ she assists with the assurance framework development that provides the overall guidance to the Assurance Delivery Supervisors deployed to the delivery segments, #LI-RM1
Major Responsibilities:- Assists the Program Assurance Manager (PAM) and Program Assurance Delivery Manager (PADM) with the development and roll out of the Ontario Line Program Technical Assurance Plan and associated detailed processes and procedures
- Works with the PADM to ensure project assurance schedules are developed and implemented considering assurance requirements so that deliverables are provided in a timely manner across the program;
- Works with the PAM and PADM to develop assurance dashboards that intrinsically links each project assurance status to an overarching Program Dashboard;
- Works with the PADM to develop and implement a program wide tool (requirements & schedule) that is fully inclusive of all contract assurance requirements across, P3, PDB (progressive design build) and DBB (design bid build) contracts, that captures the key assurance milestones allowing progress to be accurately tracked;
- Works with the PADM to monitor, assesses progress (deviations) with regards to an assurance gate process.
- Have a knowledge of CMREA and EN50126, and understands the different approaches across varying contracts across the program
- Have a knowledge or gains a knowledge of NFPA Standards.
- Work with the Program Assurance Manager and team to track and monitor, assurance review progress, non-conformities, departures and delivery conformance associated with the design production.
- Track the Integration of the assurance systems and exploitation of data for assurance activities.
- Support the PADM to develop, maintain and publish, with support from the deployed interface management team, a set of Assurance metrics & reports that underpin program assurance quality and performance.
- Promotes collaboration and the improvement of data integrity across the program functions, including assurance, handover and integration.
- Identify and promote the use of innovative solutions to solve complex engineering problems.
- Build and maintain relationships, both internal and external at senior management and director levels.
- Take necessary care to properly protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of corporate information from unauthorised disclosure, modification or destruction. Never knowingly put Metrolinx's information or information systems at risk.

Education and Experience Requirements:- A recognized degree or postgraduate qualification in science, engineering from an accredited university or equivalent qualification and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience of Systems Assurance and Integration in rail (greenfield and brownfield) projects.
- Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in delivering rail/ civil projects.
Required Knowledge and Skills:- Working towards or recently qualified as PEO (or equivalent)
- Excellent communicator, with the ability to persuade and influence external and internal parties.
- Ability to manage priorities and take on additional evolving responsibilities.
- Build and maintain relationships, both internal and external at senior management and director levels.
