Purchasing Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Business Administration
• Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs occasionally and travel between plant locations

Responsibilities

• Manage the full purchasing cycle for packaging, supplies, and services across all plant locations
• Process purchase requisitions and obtain competitive quotes
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast material needs
• Maintain accurate documentation of transactions and deliveries
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Sales, and Production
• Analyze spend categories and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and quality standards
