Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
Administer intranasal esketamine (Spravato) and monitor patients during mandated monitoring times
Assess patients for appropriateness of Spravato treatment through patient consults
Provide Psychiatric medication management to existing and new patients
Work in tandem with our Psychiatrist to conduct follow ups and recommend new patients for TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation)
Facilitate drug and pregnancy tests as necessary
Conduct consultations for Medication Management as well as routine follow up visits
Perform patient evaluations and assessments as necessary
Treatment plan development
Monitoring progress of patients
Communication with staff, family, and patients
Collaborate with clinical staff as well as other department leads
Will serve as the primary onsite provider for the Clinic utilizing a clinical assistant, collaborating with in house therapists, consulting with the clinic manager, and collaborating with our psychiatrist
Actively work with leadership to recommend new modalities, implement new programs, and provide the most innovative care available
Qualifications:
PMHNP or Psychiatric certification preferred but will consider candidates with relevant experience
Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) or certified Physician Assistant with an applicable state license
Must have an active license and DEA #
