As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you'll join an experienced interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care. What You'll Do - Conduct initial and comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status exams and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop, review, and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans in partnership with the treatment team.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in alignment with best practices and guidelines.
- Provide ongoing care through daily rounds, patient education, and consultation.
- Monitor labs, assessments, and treatment response while adjusting care as needed.
- Deliver crisis intervention and respond effectively to urgent or emergency situations.
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
What We're Looking For Education & Training - Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (required)
Experience - Prior psychiatric care experience (required)
- 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Licensure/Certifications - Current NP license in the state of Massachusetts (required)
- DEA registration (required)
