Responsibilities- Work closely and collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents, and families.
- Proactively follow up with patients and assess the efficacy of recommended interventions.
- Provide education on best practices.
- Round at assigned nursing homes and recommend psychiatric medication and treatment recommendations.
- Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments whenever possible.
Requirements- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
- ANNC Board Certification
- Ability to travel in Vermont
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Strong patient assessment skills
- Strong, ambitious, patient-centric work ethic
