Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000 per year
What You'll Get To Do:- Take charge of full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties - from journal entries to monthly and year-end closings.
- Deliver timely financial statements and reconciliations with confidence and precision.
- Provide in-depth variance analysis to uncover what's really driving performance.
- Partner with Operations Managers to build accurate budgets and forecasts that shape future strategy.
- Manage recoverable rent reconciliations in line with lease terms, ensuring fairness and clarity.
- Lead the financial onboarding of new assets - set the tone for their success.
- Handle remittances and maintain top-tier compliance documentation.
- Support external audits with well-prepared records and proactive communication.
- Be a go-to for Property Managers and clients - you'll provide real answers, fast.
Who You Are :- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in property management.
- CPA designation (or is actively pursuing one).
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software (YARDI an asset).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
- Stays focused, organized, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
- Thrives in collaboration, but can also run solo with full accountability.
