PROJECT MANAGER (Utilities) Phoenix, AZAs a Project Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of utility infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, performance, and client satisfaction. You'll lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and play a key role in business development and staff mentorship. Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and implementation of water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, wells, boosters, reservoirs, gravity sewer mains, lift stations, force mains, and odor control systems.
- Manage programs and master planning for water and sewer systems.
- Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
- Coordinate with clients, design teams, internal staff, and external resources throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance to engineers, EITs, and technicians.
- Monitor project performance and ensure quality control of deliverables.
- Set up project accounting and budget tracking systems.
- Prepare invoices and follow up with clients to ensure timely payments.
- Conduct QA/QC reviews and ensure compliance with standards.
- Mentor junior staff and support career development.
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to pursue new opportunities.
- Participate in proposal development and client interviews.
- Assemble and manage project teams, including sub-consultants.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and strategic planning.
- Represent Dibble at industry events and conferences.

Required Skills & Qualifications- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple high-value projects simultaneously.
- Strategic decision-making and resource management capabilities.
- Deep understanding of project budgeting and scheduling.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels-clients, engineers, technicians, and subconsultants.
- Proven ability to negotiate profitable contracts.

Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.S. required).
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience preferred.
- At least 3 years of direct project management experience.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Arizona or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Valid Arizona driver's license or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
