What You'll Do- Own service and modification projects from sales handoff through project closeout.
- Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, manpower plans, and resource requirements.
- Serve as the primary customer contact throughout project execution.
- Review customer requests for modifications, retrofits, upgrades, and additional work; develop scopes and coordinate quotations for changes outside the original project scope.
- Track project budgets, forecast costs, and manage financial performance against established targets.
- Coordinate engineering, purchasing, suppliers, field service, installation, and other resources required for successful execution.
- Manage project changes, risks, priorities, and customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Plan and support work performed during customer shutdowns and compressed installation windows.
- Travel to manufacturing sites for project kickoffs, installation activities, commissioning support, and project closeout.
- Maintain clear project documentation and communicate status, risks, schedule changes, and required actions to customers and internal stakeholders.
What You'll Bring- Strong project management experience supporting industrial automation, manufacturing equipment, process systems, or similar technical equipment.
- Experience managing service, retrofit, modification, upgrade, or aftermarket projects strongly preferred.
- Ability to develop and manage project schedules, resources, budgets, and customer deliverables.
- Experience working directly with customers in a technical/project environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, including urgent customer needs and short shutdown windows.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer-management skills.
- Experience with SAP, Microsoft Project, Salesforce, Outlook, and Microsoft Office preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, a technical discipline, business, or project management preferred; equivalent relevant technical/project experience will also be considered.
- Experience with industrial paint automation, process systems, final assembly systems, or comparable automotive/industrial manufacturing equipment is preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel to customer manufacturing sites as required.
