Project ManagerSaber Power Services seeks an experienced and driven
Project Manager to oversee and deliver EPC projects in the LV, MV & High Voltage space. (480V to 500kV and above) from initiation through commissioning and will include greenfield projects as well as brownfield. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high voltage transmission and substation projects, a deep understanding of EPC delivery models, and proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high voltage projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage the entire project lifecycle including design coordination, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules (Primavera P6 or MS Project) and cost control reports.
- Conduct regular site visits and progress reviews to monitor construction quality and safety compliance.
- Coordinate and lead regular project meetings and progress reporting (internal and external).
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and utility standards (NESC, NEC, IEEE, OSHA, FERC, NERC, etc.).
- Oversee contract administration, change management, and claims resolution.
- Drive continuous improvement, quality assurance, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3+ years managing high voltage projects.
- PMP certification is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of substation and transmission line design, protection & control, and grid interconnection.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, Procore).
- Familiarity with utility and ISO processes (e.g., interconnection, permitting, energization).
- Understanding construction methodologies, safety practices, and QA/QC procedures.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, and construction.
