As a member of the IT group, the Contract Project Manager will assume responsibility for the support and ongoing system initiatives of the firm's corporate functions. This is a highly visible position, directly supporting existing or new projects and applications across all of the business functions.

Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain processes to manage the scope of project lifecycles
• Develop business/functional requirements for information delivery implementations
• Initiate incident resolutions via our bug/enhancement tracking system and follow-up to ensure completion of tasks
• Conduct system requirements analysis at the code and data level
• Research, track and communicate business issues and software defects related to projects and level two applications support
• Communicate status updates to stakeholders
• Approach our internal clients with a customer focus
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 8-15 years of experience working as an IT Project Manager and/or Business Systems Analyst in the financial services industry
• Strong technical background in data integration in the financial services industry
• Three or more years of experience in security master data and interfaces to downstream applications
• Experience with data governance and data management practices
• Demonstrated project, resources and time management skills to facilitate multiple projects in an independent or team environment
• Solid understanding of system development methodologies and techniques, and an excellent grasp of database concepts and principles
• Ability to take initiative, manage and communicate change in a solutions oriented manner
• Outstanding interpersonal skills to communicate, listen, problem solve and make decisions
• Strong business, analytical and technical writing skills
• Flexible and able to work in fluid environment with changing priorities
