Assist clients and internal teams by establishing relationships with engagement leadership to design, establish and operate day to day program and governance structures tracking performance, status and benefit realization across workstreams. Oversee the design, implementation, and integration of technology solutions which enable tax departments to gather, organize and analyze high volumes of data. Monitor progress, manage risk, maximize operational efficiencies and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Support teams with experience in planning, controlling and executing complex programs. Oversee various processes and communicate status and progress of the day-to-day operations of the project on a regular basis. Aid in the effort of continuing to standardize and improve our internal processes and go-to-market approaches. Assist with the design and execution of transition plans for these transformational engagements.
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Tax or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Tax or a related field and 4 years of related work experience.
Must have 4 years of experience at a mid-sized/regional to large sized/national professional services firm, consulting firm, and/or public accounting firm.
Must have 4 years of experience establishing program governance structure, operating models, and transition/ transformation/implementation scope of services aligned to technology deployment.
Must have 4 years of experience using at least 1 of the following project execution strategies: Waterfall, SCRUM, Agile and/or SAFe Agile project methodologies.
Must have 4 years of experience building systems to monitor and report on performance, quality and effectiveness of program services, including adherence to established KPIs, CPIs and other contractual obligations.
Must have 4 years of experience with Microsoft Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Sharepoint and Visio.
Must have 3 years of experience designing, setting up and leading work streams for a large, complex program involving multiple related projects.
Must have 3 years of experience with the Microsoft Power BI suite, including PowerPivot, Power Query, Power View and Power Map.
Must have 2 years of experience supervising teams on multiple projects and providing direction to team members.
Must have 2 years of experience managing tax engagements, including engagement-related budgeting and billing, serving as a primary point of contact for clients, and escalating issues to tax partners or executives as needed.
Must hold at least one of the following certifications/accreditations: Certified Public Accountant (CPA); US State Bar license; Certified Digital Product Manager (CDPM); Lean Six Sigma Black Belt; Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Tax; Certified Member of the Institute (CMI); Certified Scrum Professional Certifications (CSPC); Certified SAFe Professionals; Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA); PMI Agile Certified Practitioner; Vertex Certified Implementer; Microsoft Certified Azure or DevOps Professional Certification; SQL Server Database Certification; and/or Microsoft Certified Power Platform App.
Requires domestic travel up to 25% to serve client needs.
