Job Summary:

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for collaborating with the Project Executive in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a high level of organization, communication, and leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. The Construction Project Manager will collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of all project phases. The ideal candidate will have solid construction management experience and a strong ability to lead teams and solve problems effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning and Execution:
    • Work closely with the Project Executive to develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
    • Oversee the entire lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
    • Identify project deliverables and establish clear success criteria.
  2. Team Leadership and Coordination:
    • Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors, site superintendents, and labor crews.
    • Assign responsibilities to team members, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and deadlines are met.
    • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among the project team.
  3. Client and Team Management:
    • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed on project status and managing expectations.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
    • Provide regular project updates to clients, senior management, and other stakeholders.
  4. Budgeting and Cost Control:
    • Monitor project budgets and costs throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Track expenditures, ensure alignment with project budgets, and implement cost-saving strategies where necessary.
    • Review and approve project-related invoices, change orders, and purchase orders.
  5. Schedule Management:
    • Maintain detailed project schedules, tracking milestones and deadlines.
    • Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and resources to meet project timelines.
    • Identify potential delays and implement solutions to keep the project on track.
  1. Risk Management and Problem Solving:
    • Collaborate with Safety Team to identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
    • Proactively address challenges or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
    • Resolve issues related to design, scheduling, labor, or materials to prevent delays or budget overruns.
  2. Quality Control and Safety:
    • Ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety protocols.
    • Implement corrective actions as needed to maintain high standards of work quality and safety.
  3. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project schedules, budgets, and reports.
    • Ensure all project documentation is completed and submitted on time, including permits, inspections, and final project closeout documents.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and industry regulations.
