Position Title: Project Manager
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Position Overview:A prestigious general contractor with over 50 years of history in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking an experienced Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in commercial construction. This role is critical to managing and delivering large-scale projects ranging from $20 million to $80 million, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven ability to handle complex projects, and proficiency in Procore.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Lead project teams, including subcontractors and consultants, to ensure project objectives are met.
- Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports using Procore.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain progress and profitability.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, architects, and internal teams, to maintain strong relationships and resolve issues.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a track record of successfully managing projects valued between $20 million and $80 million.
- Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with a focus on collaboration and results.
