  • Develop, maintain, and track construction schedules and internal activities.
  • Coordinate with teams to meet service level agreements and timelines.
  • Manage invoicing, payments, and track necessary project equipment.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on project financials to stakeholders.
  • Conduct on-site meetings with customers and collaborate with internal resources.

Full Job Description
Role and Scope of Position: The Project Manager (Customer Care) serves as lead of construction activities for all customer work including New Customer Connect Large Projects and DER/Solar Projects. Essential Functions: • Provide overall management of the project with knowledge & experience in all segments (overhead, substation, underground, TNVs, SNVs, SCs, and Customer Stations), including schedule and budget management. • Advises project teams on progress and financial status for projects and/or other strategic objectives • Develops and maintains construction schedules • Provides support and updates to project teams and management as needed. • Tracks internal activities and WO progression and ensures budget adherence • Meets with customers on site and with internal resources as needed. • Works with appropriate internal teams to ensure SLA's and timeline requirements are met. • Attends work center plannings meetings • Manages the invoicing and payments for projects • Tracks all the equipment needed for the project • Works with the Engineering Department’s Rights Team and Legal Department for Licenses and Easements • Prepares and delivers presentations summarizing financial status and economics of projects Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications: Technical Knowledge/Skill: a. Understanding of electrical utility infrastructure • Overhead • Underground • Sub-Station • TNVs • SNVs • Customer Stations • SCs b. Strong project management skill: • Extensive skills including the ability to draw sound conclusions and act decisively • Demonstrated safety professional • Ability to see the “big picture” and be customer centric • Strategic and tactical project management skills • Be able to handle multiple projects of various degrees of complexity • Strong detail orientation as well as the ability to be thorough and precise • Ability to work and communicate effectively with various levels of the organization • Team leadership and membership. • Strong customer service orientation. • Strong functional understanding of computerized business systems. • Demonstrated skill with applications (specifically Maximo, Power Track and PowerClerk, Omni, Adept, iTOA) • Ability to multi-task and shift among multiple priorities simultaneously • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences through both written and spoken communications. • Initiative and personal ownership. • Thorough understanding of the Eversource organization Education: • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or other closely related discipline required. MBA; other advanced degree; formal project management certification or completed coursework; or related professional designations are strongly preferred. Experience: • Minimum of five (5) or more years of progressively responsible hands-on experience that includes project-related management and experience with electrical infrastructure. Experience within a regulated environment highly preferred. Licenses & Certifications: • None Working Conditions: • Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required. • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk, and hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands and fingers to operate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. • The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change, based on managerial discretion and work performance. The annual salary range for this position is: $121,730.00-$135,250.00 Worker Type: Regular Number of Openings: 5 Emergency Response: Responding to emergency situations to meet customers’ needs is part of every employee’s role. If employed, you will be given an Emergency Restoration assignment. This means you may be called to assist during an emergency outside of your normal responsibilities, work hours and location.
