Are you a self-driven professional who excels at Project Management in the Automation industry? From signed contract to accepted delivery, the
Project Manager is fully responsible to lead and manage projects that resolve identified business needs within agreed time-schedules, budgets and quality standards.
Some of the main tasks are:Provide the main interface and maintain a confident relationship with the customer and other participants in the Project. Responsible for ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled. Carry the overall technical and financial responsibility of the project by leading. efficiently and effectively the nominated Project organization. Plan and coordinate all activities during project execution, such as engineering, logistics, FAT, customer training, commissioning and Start Up. Ensure guarantees are fulfilled as per contract. Efficient and clean handing over of Project to our Service organization
Expectations:To excel in the role, you should have a solid understanding of the business and technology, strong attention to detail and the desire to support and work closely with coworker and customers.
To succeed in this role you will need:- Master's or bachelor's Degree in: Engineering within the area of E&I or Automation or Chemical Engineering within the area of Paper Making or Combustion.
- Five to Ten years of experience in the fields of Pulp & Paper, Power or other heavy Process industry.
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in a Project lead position in the above-mentioned fields. (I.e. Project Lead Engineer.) or One (1) to Two (2) years of experience in a Project Manager position in the above-mentioned fields.
- Knowledge of Automation Control systems in the above-mentioned fields.
- (Knowledge of Valmet DNA and other Valmet Control systems is a strong advantage.)
- Being able to fluently communicate in English and French both verbally and in writing.
- Due to our business in Mexico and in the French speaking part of Canada Knowledge in Spanish and French is an advantage.
