Qualifications

• Registered Architect with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited university
• 10+ years of design experience preferred
• Experience in the Higher Education market preferred
• Proficiency in Revit preferred
• Understanding of relevant codes such as state building codes, ANSI 117.1, BOMA
• LEED accreditation or interest in achieving it is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to produce design and construction documents effectively

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and design leaders on production projects
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and prepare strategic plans
• Negotiate contracts, handle billing, and perform project close-out duties
• Manage budgets, schedules, and scopes of work, including team assignments and proposal preparation
• Facilitate and seal contract documents as Architect in Responsible Charge
• Develop design assignments during all project phases
• Coordinate architectural drawings across various disciplines
• Ensure effective communication among project team, clients, vendors, contractors, and consultants
