Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY

This role will be a part of a shared-service team of project managers and will support a mix of strategic, non-technical projects driven by the Acceleration Office as well as technology projects. This person will be responsible for managing projects or project work streams across various areas of the business to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of strategic initiatives. The right person for this role is comfortable working with technical and non-technical business teams within the Agile framework and is a results-driven team player with strong communication skills.

This is a full-time role at our Property Support Center located in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, and reports to the Business Technology Solutions Team Lead & Sr. Project Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage multiple projects and work streams spanning the full range from technology-driven initiatives to purely non-technical business initiatives, from discovery through implementation, serving as a Project Manager or Scrum Master.
  • Work with business partners to intake, scope, and develop formalized charters for incoming project requests across the shared-service portfolio.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies to drive project progress and effective communication with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Adapt and coach Agile/Scrum practices for business-driven initiatives outside of software delivery, translating ceremonies and artifacts for teams with mixed familiarity with the framework.
  • Document and manage project scope, schedules, budget, and resources.
  • Identify, track, and manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, defining a clear path to resolution.
  • Track and report project status using project management best practices and tools.
  • Present project status and outcomes to business and technology leadership, including steering committees, tailoring communication to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Coordinate cross-functional business and technology teams to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.


EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree (commensurate relevant experience may satisfy this requirement)
  • 3-5 years of experience in a project management role in an IT or cross-functional business environment
  • Experience working in waterfall and Agile technology delivery teams
  • Experience applying Agile/Scrum outside of software development
  • Change management experience is a plus
  • Action oriented and a team player with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic, matrix management organization
  • Excellent communication skills and professional presence with the ability to establish trust and credibility through a dedication to excellence
  • Comfortable adapting project governance and communication style across both technical and non-technical stakeholder groups
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
  • PMP and Agile Scrum Master certifications preferred
  • Experience in entertainment, hospitality, or retail industry preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% based on project needs
