Full Job Description
** This is a standing announcement to build a pipeline of experienced project management professionals to support current and upcoming federal contracts. Qualified candidates may be contacted as experience and skills are matched to specific proposal and/or awarded contract requirements. **

Evoke is seeking experienced Project Managers to join our team!

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of direct and subcontract personnel, across a diverse set of qualifications, ensuring contract objectives and performance quality standards are met
  • Monitor and manage client-facing projects and daily, rapidly escalating risks, issues, and roadblocks
  • Establish project plans and schedules, track deliverables and action items, and ensure quality surveillance across project status, scope, risks, and issues
  • Own on-time delivery and quality assurance for all final products and deliverables, with absolute commitment to quality assurance and control processes
  • Meet all contractual and financial requirements and ensure compliance with contract terms and federal policy and regulations
  • Communicate and present performance status, risks, and opportunities to internal and external stakeholders, including recurring management reports that equip program directors to make informed decisions
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the team, sustaining high efficiency and morale while identifying improvements in team structure, organizational training, and project management best practices
  • Support the team's adoption of sound project practices and recommended tools and templates, providing guidance in day-to-day project execution
  • Organize and monitor interconnected projects, setting strategy and objectives, coordinating cross-project activities, controlling deadlines and budgets, applying change, risk, and resource management, and resolving higher-scope issues
  • Assess program performance and maximize ROI
  • Identify and support the acquisition of related new business opportunities and proposals
  • Build and foster a strong culture in support of Evoke's core values


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, IT, computer science or related field
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years' project management experience supporting federal government contracts, with experience across the DoD, VA, DOE, USDA, GSA, or USCP preferred
    • Additional four (4) years' experience may be substituted, in lieu of degree
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Basic knowledge of M365, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt qualified, or willingness to obtain within one (1) year of employment
  • Agile certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master [CSM])


Skills

  • Demonstrated experience driving transformational projects while managing concurrent assignments within tight deadlines
  • Experience applying project management best practices with strict attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
  • Self-starter able to work independently, with outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills that extend beyond the immediate functional area
  • Ability to build and manage highly effective onsite and remote teams, including developing professional development plans and career maps
  • Ability to partner with leadership and Human Capital to resolve client and employee issues
  • Knowledge of the acquisition process, contract types, procurement, and proposal development, with the ability to identify and pursue growth opportunities at existing client sites alongside business development


Citizenship and Clearance

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Active - or recently active (within past 2 years) - Secret ("L") or Top Secret ("Q") clearance preferred
