DescriptionPosition SummaryThe Project Manager must have strong leadership and project management experience with delivering successful ERP and SaaS Implementations, including cloud-based financial, HCM, or operational systems delivered on a subscription model. Experience with customer-facing roles in which she/he manages the customer relationship throughout the implementation by building and maintaining a level of trust with the customer, serves as an advocate, and offers guidance and support in analyzing and solving customer problems. Able to represent LBMC's core processes and hybrid implementation methodology lifecycle from pre-sales, execution, through deploy; Able to effectively communicate with executive level clients regarding LBMC's technology-based software and services; Able to plan and execute multiple complex client technology projects; Able to oversee and integrate project activities across multiple solutions and vendors.
Specific Duties include the following:
- Successful Product Delivery & Meeting Critical Success Factors. Establish and maintain client relationship throughout the implementation project working with identified client project manager, business, and executive team to ensure benefits realization and successful delivery.
- Responsible for providing Senior Project Management leadership in the areas of team mentoring, process, and procedure improvement, and providing coaching on project related activities.
- Responsible for proactively learning and developing a baseline amount of knowledge of LBMC's products and services to actively support and participate in client business development opportunities and sales support.
- Participate as a member of the team in software and services sales activities representing project management, and LBMC software and services.
- Conduct, lead, and coordinate LBMC team in the developing of Strategic Technology Business Process Reviews for our clients. This would include high-level business requirement development; system design; solution responses, project estimates, and summary project plans.
- Conduct, lead, and coordinate the LBMC team in the developing of Statement of Work documents to include detail business requirement development; detail system design; solution responses; project estimates; and detail project plans.
- Ability to implement multiple methodologies including Hybrid, Waterfall, and Agile.
- Manage SaaS-specific delivery considerations, including tenant configuration, third-party/API integrations, data migration and validation, user acceptance testing, and coordinating client readiness around vendor release and upgrade cycles.
- Develop Project Plans, estimates, and perform resource planning for technology projects.
- Collaborate and track work progress of the LBMC project team to ensure that results are delivered using LBMC defined core processes and hybrid methodology.
- Ability to adapt leadership styles to the situation, maturity, and skills level of the team. Including Servant and Situational Leadership Models.
- Manage administrative aspects of the project to include the budget (hour tracking, estimate to actual variance reporting) and monthly client billing.
- Perform all project management functions necessary to effectively manage, communicate and achieve client business, budget, and schedule goals.
- Coordination and administration of all technical aspects of the project.
- Scope Management - includes the development and sign-off of the SOW and managing changes to the scope throughout the project life cycle.
- Project Change Control - includes the process of managing changes to the project scope, schedule, cost, and any other factors that would impact the defined project.
- Time & Cost Management - includes managing and executing the project plan and working with clients to plan, schedule, and execute all joint project configuration and software development activities required for successful completion of the technology project within the defined schedule and budget.
- Communication Management - includes the development of a communications plan that outlines how the project status will be communicated. The plan would include who will receive the communication, the frequency of the communication, how it will be sent, and when it will be sent. In addition, the plan and execution of the plan would address status meetings or any other types of communication that is required for managing the project.
- Risk Management - Identify and describe the possible detriments or negative outcomes of the project and the corresponding probability that the risk will occur. As a result of the Risk analysis, develop action plans to mitigate, transfer, or accept the identified risks.
- Assist in selling the value of project management to clients and achieving utilization and realization rates that continue to provide business justification for maintaining project management services as an offering to our clients.
- Championing core processes and operational improvements. Administration and development of documented LBMC business processes, system development life cycles, and project management methodologies.
Required Certifications, Training, Skills, Specific Knowledge and/or ExperienceBachelor's Degree and 3 to 5 years of project management experience leading ERP and/or SaaS implementations (e.g., NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Sage Intacct, Oracle Cloud, Acumatica, or similar cloud-based platforms); Leadership; Proficient in Project Planning applications and building detailed plans; Active listening, strong oral, and written communication skills; Demonstrated business analysis, critical thinking skills, and understanding of complex ideas; Decision making; Results Driven; Organizational Change Management.
PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification is not required, but preferred. Vendor-specific implementation or certification credentials (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Sage Intacct Implementation Certification) are a plus.
Proficient in the use of SmartSheet, MS Office; Visio; DevOps, and SharePoint. Hands-on experience with cloud ERP/SaaS platforms and their implementation lifecycle strongly preferred, including data migration, third-party integrations, and subscription/release management practices unique to SaaS delivery.
