Bachelor's degree with 1+ years in Project Management or 4+ years of relevant experience without a degree
Proficient in building and managing schedules using MS Project or similar tools
Working knowledge of SAP ERP or supply chain tools is a plus
Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments is strongly preferred
Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement
Responsibilities

Our client, a leader in aerospace & defense, is looking to hire a Project Manager. This role is fully onsite in Bohemia, NY.

As a Project Manager, you will support the Supply Chain Lighting Leader with various Lighting Systems projects across all phases of planning, coordination, and executionYou will be responsible for creating, optimizing and driving schedules and project plans across cross-functional teams and partners.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop project plans, schedules, and milestones, ensuring timely delivery of key objectives
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams to address program and project requirements for lighting operations
Monitor and track project progress, identifying potential risks and ensuring issue resolution to maintain project timelines
Support supplier engagement activities, including performance monitoring, and relationship management
Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for stakeholders and senior leadership regarding project status and outcomes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
