Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in managing low-rise or multi-residential construction projects, preferably stacked townhomes or condominiums.
• Familiarity with Ontario approval processes, consultant coordination, and contract negotiation.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and construction document management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proactive problem-solving capacity and the ability to prioritize project tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, maintaining composure under pressure.
• Relevant education in construction management, engineering, or architecture, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and risk outlines, ensuring quality is maintained throughout.
• Lead the building permit approval process, coordinating with consultants and local authorities.
• Oversee all aspects of tendering, from preparing scopes of work to finalizing contracts.
• Work closely with onsite construction teams to implement systems for scheduling and quality control.
• Identify risks and potential issues early, recommending and implementing solutions promptly.
• Monitor project spending and financial forecasts, ensuring accountability for costs and quality.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, approvals, and progress reports.
