Responsibilities: The Project Manager will support Barrow Wise's FEMA project and perform the following duties:
- Provide support in areas such as project oversight, communication, risk management, scheduling, estimating, analysis of alternatives, operational analysis, and knowledge management
- Provide Program management initiatives ensuring that the SELC process is adhered to in collaboration with the Assurance division
- Collaborate with stakeholders to maximize the benefit of technology and leverage methodologies with a proven success track record
- Support Agile Development, DevSecOps, and other methodologies including, but not limited to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipeline development methodologies
- Project Management Office (PMO) tasks and activities may consist of developing and maintaining an integrated master schedule, project charters requirements development and documentation, and project-specific documentation such as (ex: Quad charts, relaying project status)
- Acquire expert technical contractor support services to assist FEMA in establishing and maturing the FEMA OCIO IT Project Management Office
- Implement project management best practices that reduce the cost and complexity of IT systems and applications. Increase the resiliency, adaptability, and agility of FEMA's systems
- Support the implementation of the OCIO Agile Framework process to enable FEMA to transform IT development by delivering capabilities more rapidly, thus allowing the agency to respond more effectively to changes in operations, technology, and budgets
- Improve collaboration and cooperation with the Lines of Business, Mission Offices, and Regions while achieving FEMA's strategic mission objectives
An ideal candidate has the following:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Minimum: Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
- Five (5) or more years of hands-on experience in project management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
