Full Job Description
Position Description: As leaders of multiple project teams, Project Managers oversee the administration, production, and coordination of project documentation while ensuring adherence to project budget and profit goals. They cultivate positive, long-term client relationships, reflecting the firm's business plan and objectives. Project Managers are integral to upholding office policies and procedures, fostering a culture of excellence and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Align with company's business plan and goals, championing its values.
  • Efficiently manage multiple projects concurrently, delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Report directly to the Managing Principal, providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Supervise and mentor project teams, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of relevant building codes, maintaining compliance at all stages.
  • Implement company's Guide to Quality Control and Project Management Manual, upholding high standards.
  • Prepare accurate project fee proposals and manage project budgets effectively.
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and completeness of project deliverables, adhering to schedules and standards.
  • Drive business development initiatives, cultivating relationships with existing clients and pursuing new opportunities.
  • Participate in RFP interviews, contributing to the firm's growth and success.


Skills & Requirements:

  • Knowledge in Revit, proficiency is a preferred but not required.
  • Experience in K-12, Higher Education, Civic or Institutional project types is required.

  • Familiarity with various construction delivery methods, including Design/Bid/Build and Design/Build.

  • Exceptional knowledge of building codes, ensuring compliance and safety.
  • Proven ability to motivate and inspire team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Experienced in construction administration and coordination, ensuring project success from inception to completion.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting profitability goals and developing new business opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills and capabilities, essential for managing multiple projects effectively.


Education Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Architecture is required, with preference given to candidates who are California Licensed Architects.
