Job Description
We are seeking a Project Geotechnical Engineer to join our Bay Area team in San Jose, CA. The successful candidate will manage geotechnical, forensic, and construction projects, working closely with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage geotechnical, forensic, and construction projects
Interact directly with clients and manage project budgets
Coordinate and participate in field activities, including:
Logging borings, test pits, trenches, and cores
Evaluating geologic and seismic hazards
Performing forensic evaluations of distressed structures and failed slopes
Perform engineering analyses, including:
Foundation design and evaluation
Slope stability analysis
Settlement analysis
Prepare geotechnical engineering proposals and technical reports
Provide technical support and mentorship to staff engineers, geologists, and field technicians
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
California Professional Engineering (PE) license REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, or related engineering discipline preferred.

Familiarity with Bay Area geologic and geotechnical conditions.
Additional Information
Salary range: $90,000-110,000/year, depending on qualifications
