Position Title: Project Engineers
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000/ Year + Bonus DOE
Responsibilities: - Manage and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders while keeping all project documentation current and organized
- Prepare and maintain meeting agendas, minutes, and construction drawings throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor procurement tracking logs to align with project schedules and evolving project demands
- Support QA/QC efforts by verifying installed materials match approved submittals and maintaining thorough photo and written documentation
- Assist the Project Manager in monitoring job cost reports, subcontract agreements, and CPM schedule adherence
- Coordinate with subcontractors by providing up-to-date drawings, specifications, and ensuring signed agreements are returned to the office
- Participate in job closeout, enforce OSHA safety standards, and help maintain a safe, compliant job site environment
Requirements: - Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer with a General Contractor (Senior PEs with ~5 years also welcome)
- Proven commercial construction experience - residential-only backgrounds will not be considered
- Hands-on experience with RFIs and submittals and projects of at least $20-25M in value
- Willingness to travel to project sites primarily in the Stockton/Tracy corridor, with potential South Bay assignments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore and/or Bluebeam is highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field strongly preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. - sponsorship is not available for this role
