Standard Job DescriptionAs a key member of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, the Digital Transformation Project Engineer/Project Manager will lead the planning and execution of integrated capabilities for the Saber digital thread ecosystem. This will require coordination across domains, Agile Release Trains (ARTs), IT Systems, and organizations. The Project Engineer will work closely with key stakeholders including Program Leadership, IT Architecture, Business Process redesign teams, ARTs, and Agile Teams. Working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment, the Project Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
• Ensure solutions are defined, developed, and deployed effectively within the Saber Environment ecosystem.
• Define and Manage the detailed Project Schedule to deliver complex solutions.
• Work with all impacted teams to create and maintain status against a master integrated schedule of technical IT activities, including infrastructure, software, hardware, licensing, and other technical dependencies.
• Drive capability delivery initiatives to deploy incremental capability according to a defined plan and schedule.
• Escalate Risks and Issues as appropriate.
• Define Architectural Assessments and business process definition work that will be needed to support integration capabilities.
• Manage to resolution Program/Environment and other solution level issues with the various ARTs as they arise.
• Status Program Leadership on the execution progress.
• Track and Manage planned versus actual Costs, including total dollars and total FTE
• Create monthly CTC charts
Basic Qualifications- Project Management experience
- Experience managing weekly project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
- Experience conducting regular status meetings and providing clear, concise updates to stakeholders
- Microsoft Project Experience
- Experience coordinating multi-discipline teams to deliver IT Projects/Initiatives
- Strong Control Account Managment experience
- Good understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Fundamentals
- Experience developing comprehensive project plans and resource allocations
Desired Skills• SAFe Certification(s) a plus
• PMI PMP Certification(s) a plus
• Experience using JIRA
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Experience leading complex IT Systems Integration efforts
• Business Process Reengineering experience desired
• Experience managing across organizational boundaries
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Systems, Manufacturing Engineering Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems
• Experience working with Siemens Xcelerator platform a plus
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
