Full Job Description
A Snapshot of Your Day

In this role, you'll serve as a critical link between customers, field teams, and manufacturing partners following equipment failures. Your day may include coordinating recovery plans, building detailed schedules, and communicating progress updates to stakeholders. You'll travel to project sites to mentor field project managers, assess conditions, and ensure alignment on execution. At the same time, you'll collaborate with factories and suppliers to accelerate the manufacturing and delivery of replacement components.

• Interface directly with customers and regional teams following unit failures to assess needs and define recovery strategies
• Develop detailed processes, schedules, and execution plans to return units to service efficiently
• Travel to project sites to mentor and support site project managers during outage and recovery activities
• Monitor project progress and provide clear, timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with factories and subcontractors to manufacture, repair, and deliver critical components
• Support coordination of logistics, heavy haul, and material movement to ensure on-time project execution

What You Bring
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or 5+ years of experience in field outage management or power generation services
• 5+ years of experience in outage management, project engineering, or field service within power generation or similar industries
• Strong knowledge of steam turbines, gas turbines, and generators
• Understanding of power plant construction, repair shop practices, and heavy haul/logistics coordination
• Ability to develop detailed schedules and cost estimates
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
