Process EngineerPrinceton, NJWe are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support our fragrance manufacturing facility. In this role, you will lead engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Working closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams, you will help drive continuous improvement and operational success. Your key responsibilities- Lead and coordinate engineering projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational requirements.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, provide technical guidance, and resolve project-related challenges.
- Monitor project progress and communicate status, risks, and key milestones to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Serve as a visible authority on the production floor and across the plant, acting as an auditor, coach, and enforcer of plant policies, procedures, and continuous improvement practices.
You bring- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field with a minimum of five years of experience in project engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1year of experience in project engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated project management expertise, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and execution of complex projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across all organizational levels.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including risk identification, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, and project management tools/software; experience with project management systems is preferred.
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $75,000 - $95,000.
