Senior Project Engineer/Manager, EPC Portfolio Performance & Analytics

The Senior Project Engineer/Manager, EPC Portfolio Performance & Analytics supports the Power EPC organization by developing and managing portfolio-level performance reporting, KPI frameworks, data governance standards, and business analytics. This role serves as the central point of accountability for project data quality, portfolio dashboards, executive reporting, and performance insights across engineering, procurement, and construction projects.

Working closely with Project Directors, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Project Controls, Proposal Managers, and IT teams, the position provides accurate, actionable information to support decision-making, improve project delivery performance, and drive continuous improvement. The role also supports digital transformation initiatives through automation, business intelligence tools, and emerging AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

Portfolio Performance & Reporting
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance portfolio performance dashboards and executive reporting tools.
  • Establish and manage standardized project KPIs and reporting methodologies.
  • Analyze trends related to cost, schedule, staffing, productivity, risk, change management, quality, and project execution.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio reviews and prepare executive-level performance presentations.
  • Maintain key project personnel, project details, and pricing information across the Power EPC portfolio.

Data Governance & Business Analytics
  • Establish and enforce project data governance standards, reporting procedures, and data quality requirements.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of project performance data.
  • Conduct audits and collaborate with project teams to resolve reporting discrepancies.
  • Develop automated dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, and related business intelligence platforms.
  • Serve as the organization's subject matter expert for project performance metrics and reporting.

Continuous Improvement & Digital Transformation
  • Identify opportunities to improve project execution and business performance through data analysis and benchmarking.
  • Lead or support process improvement initiatives and lessons learned programs.
  • Leverage automation, AI-enabled tools, and advanced analytics to improve reporting efficiency and decision quality.
  • Promote digital transformation initiatives across the Power EPC organization.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Query, data visualization, KPI management, portfolio performance reporting, forecasting, and data governance.
  • Preferred: SQL, Power Automate, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, SharePoint/Aconex, and ERP project management systems.

Authority

This position establishes project reporting standards, KPI methodologies, and data governance requirements; audits project information; drives correction of reporting deficiencies; and escalates recurring data quality issues to leadership as necessary.
