The Project Engineer will play a vital role as the key support to the Senior Project Manager on large-scale, complex construction projects. This individual will collaborate closely with project management and estimating teams, bridging the gap between project execution and accurate cost forecasting. The Project Engineer will assist in project planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, and scheduling to ensure seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimating & Budget Support
Collaborate with the Estimating department to prepare detailed project estimates, budgets, and cost analyses.
Continuously monitor project costs and expenditures, providing real-time feedback to the Senior Project Manager.
Support the development and maintenance of cost control systems to track and manage variances.
Project Coordination & Planning
Assist the Senior Project Manager in developing project strategies, including scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Field Operations) to gather input and align project goals.
Support subcontractor selection and coordination, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
Scheduling & Timeline Management
