OverviewWorking within a collaborative, cross-functional team, you'll help bring innovative consumer products to life by tackling real engineering challenges across analog circuits, PCB design, power concepts, and active component utilization.
You'll grow through direct mentorship from industry experts, building hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle with a clear path forward deepening your technical expertise while gaining leadership skills through your projects and development as an integral part of the team.
There are a variety of technical areas throughout the product lifecycle that you could encounter from day one, such as:
- Analog circuit design, analysis, and verification
- Microcontroller and RF hardware implementation
- Power electronics, power supply design, and electric motors
- Active component utilization such as power MOSFETs, thyristors, and integrated circuits
- Design of Electromagnetic compatibility, noise immunity, and thermal dissipation
Responsibilities- Designing circuits, including reliability analysis and testing
- Developing theoretical models, simulations, and prototypes
- Collaborating frequently with rf, mechanical, embedded, manufacturing, and supply chain engineers
- Supporting PCB (printed circuit board) design process and product design reviews
- Ensuring designs for global standards and regulations
- Developing technology for Lutron's world-class manufacturing plants
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering
- Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned
- 0-3 years' experience in a related field
- You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position
- Willingness and ability to work on-site 5 days per week
- Willingness to travel 5-10% of the time for inter-office collaboration, site visits, etc.
