GENERAL SUMMARY

The Extended Power Uprate Project Delivery Test Manager provides strategic leadership, technical oversight, and governance for all testing and validation activities across assigned projects or the portfolio. This role ensures that testing activities are planned, executed, and documented in accordance with project requirements, engineering standards, regulatory expectations, and organizational quality frameworks. The Test Manager partners closely with Project Managers, Engineering Leads, Operations, and Quality organizations to ensure readiness, manage risks, and verify that systems meet performance, safety, and functional requirements prior to delivery or deployment.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Extended Power Uprate Project Delivery Test Manager serves as the senior authority for test readiness reviews, test conduct, issue escalation, system/component flushing to avoid foreign material and formal closeout; Thereby, ensuring all activities comply with approved procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards. They identify and manage technical and programmatic risks affecting system performance, integration, and test execution while providing governance over all test documentation, including plans, procedures, logs, anomaly reports, and final test reports. The role requires close coordination with Project Delivery, Engineering Technical Authority, Quality Assurance, and Configuration Management to maintain alignment across requirements, baselines, and verification pathways.

Guides team members through complex technical and schedule challenges, facilitates collaborative problem-solving, and ensures that all disciplines are coordinated during planning, execution, and closeout of test activities. Fosters a culture of accountability, safety, and technical rigor while mentoring team members, promoting effective communication, and driving consistent adherence to testing processes, standards, and organizational expectations. Leads team engagement during readiness reviews, test execution, issue resolution, and post-test evaluations to ensure successful and efficient delivery of testing outcomes that meet project requirements.

Extended Power Uprate Project Delivery Test Manager leads the development of comprehensive test strategies, verification plans, and acceptance criteria for complex engineering or technical systems. This role oversees the planning and execution of all test phases, including component testing, system integration testing, factory acceptance testing, field testing, and commissioning.

The Test Manager also communicates status, risks, issues, and constraints to leadership, leads and mentors test engineering teams, supports change management processes, and ensures that lessons learned and continuous improvement practices are integrated into future testing efforts.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Requires a Bachelor's degree field from accredited college or university in Engineering or a related technical field and eighteen years of relevant experience in system testing, commissioning, validation, or verification within an Operations, Work Control Management, Engineering, Nuclear, Military or other complex technical environment.

OR Associate's degree from accredited college or university and twenty years of relevant experience in system testing, commissioning, validation, or verification within an Operations, Work Control Management, Engineering, Nuclear, Military or other complex technical environment.

OR High School Diploma/GED and twenty-two years of relevant experience in system testing, commissioning, validation, or verification within an Operations, Work Control Management, Engineering, Nuclear, Military or other complex technical environment.

Must have demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional test teams, complex schedules, risks, and interfaces across multiple disciplines.

Pay Range
$167,142.00 - $250,714.00 Annual
Midpoint:
$208,928.00

Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.

Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.

This role may be eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
