We are actively seeking to hire a Project Delivery Manager to join our Project Delivery Group in Mississauga, Ontario. In this role, you will work on a variety of challenging water and wastewater linear infrastructure projects which include conveyance, collection and distribution, rehabilitation and pumping facilities.
Responsibilities:- Involvement in water/wastewater linear infrastructure design assignments from conception through to completion;
- Provide preliminary and detailed design of linear infrastructure projects including sewer, water mains, pump stations and roads, and other related works;
- Contract document preparation, including detailed design drawings and specifications;
- Construction contract administration, and complete field work including site inspection of a variety of municipal infrastructure projects;
- Meet client quality, schedule, and budget expectations;
- Liaise with other engineering disciplines, and staff responsible for design coordination;
- Assist Director Linear Infrastructure and Sr. Project Managers on other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university;
- 15-20 years' experience in a consulting engineering firm, design of linear infrastructure, specifically for sewers and watermains;
- Professional Engineer designation with Professional Engineers Ontario;
- Experience in client management, delivery of projects on time and within budget;
- Experience in proposal writing and executing projects;
- Understanding of the applicable design standards for linear infrastructure;
- Technical skills in the design of large diameter sewers and water mains is mandatory;
- Good knowledge of Hydraulic modelling and implementation;
- Familiar with utility requirements, approval process and permitting;
- Familiarity with MicroStation, Civil 3D, BIM and MS Project;
- Demonstrated analytical (data collection, compilation and analysis) and reporting skills;
- Experience and good knowledge with environmental assessments is a strong asset;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
Base salary range: $!50,000 - $200,000
