This individual will play a critical role in shaping and executing innovative, functional, and code-compliant design solutions for commercial construction projects, focused on veterinarian, medical and dental offices. The ideal candidate brings strong conceptual design skills, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset to deliver exceptional results from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Conceptual Design
Develop initial design concepts based on client requirements, budget, and site conditions.
Create sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design ideas visually.
Space Planning
Analyze and plan building layouts for optimal functionality, accessibility, and efficiency.
Incorporate user needs and workflow considerations into the design process.
Technical Drawings
Produce detailed technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
Utilize CAD and design software (e.g., Revit, Bluebeam) for precision and efficiency.
Material and Finish Selection
Specify materials, finishes, and color schemes aligned with the design intent and project requirements.
Collaborate with interior designers and specialists to ensure a cohesive aesthetic.
Client and Stakeholder Collaboration
Engage with clients to understand vision, expectations, and functional requirements.
