Dewberry's Architecture Team is looking for a passionate and experienced Project Architect to join our growing team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you'll contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects, including Federal, State, and Local Government, Community Facilities, Civic, and Justice building types. • Holds a Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture from an accredited university
• Is a licensed architect with at least 8 years of post-graduate experience

In this role, you'll:

• Partner with clients to understand their needs and guide projects to successful outcomes.
• Lead the development and coordination of construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
• Balance technical excellence, design quality, and project requirements to deliver exceptional work.
• Take ownership of projects and project components, confidently moving them forward with minimal direction.
• Collaborate with talented professionals in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

• Professional Architecture degree from an accredited University is required.
• Licensed Architect required, with ability for reciprocal licensure in additional states.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams, clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Collaborative approach to all aspects of the practice.
• Adept knowledge of local code requirements and ability to efficiently interface with agencies having jurisdiction, as required.
• A design portfolio demonstrating experience will be required.

The projected range for this position is $105,000-$145,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.

Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
