Farnsworth Group is seeking a
Project Architect/Manager to join our leadership team in the posting location below. In this role, you will collaborate with other senior staff to mentor, inspire and guide our team of talented Architects, grow the practice through developing client relationships and lead business development opportunities within our current and potential market sectors.
Posting Location for this role: Phoenix, AZWhat you'll Do:- Create, manage and produce projects primarily for the booming advanced technology market sector. Additional market sectors with opportunities to support include: industrial, municipal, recreational, higher education, healthcare and other institutional and commercial clients.
- Provide the primary designer and leadership roles to our multi-disciplinary teams on projects throughout all stages, from concept to delivery.
- Mentor mid-level architectural staff
- Participate in business development pursuits.
- Generate work and create long-term client relationships.
- Developing, reviewing, and approving proposals, reports and contract documents.
What You'll Need:- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, required; Masters preferred, from a NAAB accredited university
- Registered Architect in Arizona preferred, NCARB preferred
- 8-12 years of experience in architectural design and planning of facilities within core markets
- Detailed understanding of construction techniques and the development of final construction documents.
- Demonstrated experience developing project specifications.
- Demonstrated project management and supervisory experience.
