Full Job Description
Program Protection Security Specialist The Opportunity: Integrate safeguards into planning and execution to protect critical information, sensitive technologies, and mission capabilities from compromise or exploitation. Support risk-informed protection strategies, develop and maintain protective documentation, and coordinate security measures across engineering, acquisition, operations, security, and other functional stakeholders. Perform responsibilities such as evaluating vulnerabilities and dependencies, translating identified risks into practical controls, and monitoring implementation throughout program activities by maintaining a coherent view of threats, critical assets, and protective actions. Advise customers in making informed decisions and ensure that security considerations are embedded in technical and operational planning. Develop and maintain program-protection plans, strategies, assessments, and supporting documentation, identify critical assets requiring coordinated protection, assess vulnerabilities and risks, integrate protective requirements into various activities, coordinate safeguards with government and technical stakeholders, track implementation of protection measures, prepare leadership briefings and recommendations, and evaluate changes in program activities or threat conditions to update protective strategies. You Have: • Experience supporting Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environments • Experience developing security plans, program protection plans, Security Classification Guides, and OPSEC plans • Experience preparing briefings, reports, and SOPs, and conducting indoctrination training • Ability to coordinate across government, contractor, and external stakeholders, and lead teams in classified settings • Ability to lead multiple security efforts independently • Top Secret clearance • Bachelor's degree in Critical Infrastructure Protection, Security Science and Technology, or Cybersecurity and 4+ years of experience in program protection, or Master's degree in Critical Infrastructure Protection, Security Science and Technology, or Cybersecurity and 2+ years of experience in program protection • Ability to obtain a Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification within 12 months of start date Nice If You Have: • Ability to independently lead multiple security efforts simultaneously • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills • TS/SCI clearance • SPeD Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
