Program Manager - Washington, D.C./National Capital Region

The Program Manager should meet the following minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management or a closely related field.
  • At least eight years of experience organizing, directing, and managing government contracts involving logistics and maintenance operations support.
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Although the draft requirement does not expressly make the PMP mandatory, I want us to treat it as a team requirement.
  • Experience managing government-contract finances, cost, schedule, staffing, performance, and deliverables.
  • Demonstrated experience with risk identification, mitigation, and quality management.
  • Experience developing and managing an Integrated Master Schedule, preferably using Microsoft Project.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams performing logistics, maintenance, repair, procurement, supply-chain, warehouse, and sustainment functions.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a fully adjudicated CBP Background Investigation.


The Program Manager will provide overall contract leadership and serve as the primary interface with the Contracting Officer, COR, and CBP program leadership. The individual must be capable of integrating activities across the operating locations, ensuring compliance with all contractual requirements, and managing performance against cost, schedule, quality, staffing, risk, and operational-readiness objectives.
