Job Description
Job Title: Program Manager
Company: LEAP
Location: Broomfield, CO (Hybrid - primarily onsite)

Position Overview

Lead program execution discipline across aerospace initiatives ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives. Help keep aerospace programs organized, on schedule, and aligned across engineering, operations, and leadership teams. This role is similar to coordinating operations or leading complex projects in the military.

Overview

LEAP is building the future of space logistics, advanced propulsion, and high-tempo applied aerospace operations. We move fast, build quickly, and solve problems that don't have playbooks.

We're always looking for extraordinary people - across engineering, operations, manufacturing, government contracting, mission assurance, business, and everything in between - who want to be part of an ambitious, high-growth team.

This is our general application for individuals who believe they can meaningfully contribute to LEAP's mission, even if a posted opening doesn't perfectly match their background.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Extremely fast learner; comfortable jumping into new domains.
  • Strong problem-solver with clear communication and structured thinking.
  • Bias toward action - able to take ownership and deliver without needing direction.
  • Comfortable working on both technical and non-technical tasks.
  • High integrity, reliability, and ability to operate under uncertainty.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • A little bit of everything.
  • Tackle ambiguous, high-priority problems across the company.
  • Research new technologies, markets, and opportunities.
  • Support engineering with testing, analysis, and prototype development.
  • Run operations: planning, logistics, documentation, vendor coordination.
  • Work on partnerships, proposals, and communication with customers or agencies.
  • Build scrappy solutions, tools, or processes when something doesn't exist yet.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in aerospace, defense tech, robotics, or applied logistics.
  • Hands-on experience with prototypes, testing, or field operations.
  • Familiarity with government proposals (SBIR, BAA, etc.).

Compensation estimate:

Salary Range: $135,000 - $155,000

The estimated salary range for this role reflects various compensation factors. The final offer depends on factors such as work experience, education, training, key skills, and business needs. In addition, LEAP provides a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, which includes:

  • Equity Program: Equity plan participation is available to all employees following an initial 90-day employment period and is performance-based. Equity allocations are determined on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. Managers may make recommendations based on individual and team performance. All equity grants are subject to executive review and approval in accordance with the Company's equity plan.
  • Growth Opportunities: Professional development support and clear exposure to executive leadership
  • Flexible Time Off: PTO as needed, company holidays, and two week-long winter breaks
  • Work Location: This is a primarily on-site role due to the nature of the work
  • Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage at minimal to no cost for employees
  • Insurance Coverage: Access to a range of optional insurance plans to meet individual and family needs.
