JOB SUMMARY:

The Program Manager, Solutions Lab plays a key leadership role in advancing SE Health's innovation agenda through the management of specialized initiatives, pilot programs, and strategic portfolios. Working within a dynamic, cross-functional environment, this role contributes to system transformation, service innovation, and enterprise-wide priorities that support the future of health and care delivery.

The position leads complex, multifaceted projects involving internal and external stakeholders across diverse sectors. The successful candidate brings strong strategic thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to translate ideas into scalable solutions that create meaningful impact for SE Health and the communities it serves.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Initiative & Portfolio Leadership
  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of assigned Solutions Lab initiatives or pilots.
  • Translate high-level strategy into actionable workplans, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and reporting for complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Develop business cases, briefing materials, and executive-level updates.
  • Ensure initiatives align with enterprise priorities and long-term strategic positioning.
  • Identify opportunities for scaling, sustainability, and integration across the organization.


Cross-Functional & Matrix Leadership
  • Coordinate work across internal departments, frontline teams, and subject matter experts.
  • Lead matrix teams without formal authority, ensuring clarity of roles, accountability, and progress.
  • Build alignment across diverse functions, including clinical, operational, digital, and corporate teams.
  • Navigate ambiguity and evolving priorities while maintaining forward momentum.
  • Represent the Solutions Lab in internal working groups and enterprise forums.

External Partnerships & Ecosystem Engagement
  • Develop and manage partnerships with external organizations, funders, innovators, academic institutions, or community partners.
  • Support negotiation of partnership scopes, deliverables, and collaboration agreements.
  • Represent SE Health in external meetings, events, and knowledge exchange forums.
  • Monitor sector trends, emerging evidence, and best practices relevant to assigned portfolio.
  • Contribute to thought leadership outputs, including reports, presentations, or publications.

Innovation, Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
  • Design and test new models, tools, or approaches in emerging areas.
  • Develop evaluation frameworks, success metrics, and performance dashboards.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform decision-making.
  • Identify lessons learned and recommend adaptations or scaling pathways.
  • Contribute to knowledge translation across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's degree preferred (e.g., Health Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Social Innovation, Health Policy, or related field).
  • Equivalent combination of education and demonstrated capability will be considered.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience or equivalent demonstrated capability in leading complex projects, initiatives, or specialized portfolios
  • Experience in innovation, strategy, research, transformation, or cross-functional environments.
  • Confidence in responsible and ethical use of AI.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives independently in ambiguous or evolving environments.
  • Experience engaging senior stakeholders (Directors, Senior Leaders, external partners).
  • Experience developing business cases, evaluation plans, or strategic reports.
  • Strategic thinking and systems perspective.

The total target compensation for this position is $72,000 - $91,000. The compensation offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies, taking into consideration internal equity
