Program Manager, Precision Medicine and Biopharma Solutions (BioPharma), Danaher Diagnostics, will be a key team member driving the execution of key projects and contributing to process excellence across the BioPharma function. The BioPharma group works jointly with Danaher Diagnostics to bring precision therapies to patients at scale, driving a paradigm shift in conventional treatment by leveraging innovation to improve patients’ lives. This role will work horizontally across the BioPharma COE and collaborate closely with Operating Company (OpCo) partners to deliver high-impact BioPharma solutions across key disease states.
This role reports to the VP of Marketing and Operations, Precision Medicine and Biopharma Solutions. This position may be based out of a primary Danaher corporate or Operating Company hub (preferably Boston, MA, Washington, DC, or Chicago, IL). While this req is posted as on-site in the US, applications from qualified candidates in other US locations will be considered equally.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Leadership of high-priority, external-facing projects and cross-functional teams in the BioPharma group, ensuring those projects are delivered on time, in scope, and within budget.
- Work independently with the BioPharma team and their Diagnostic OpCo partners to ensure specific programs in their Book of Work (BoW), partnering with the DX DBSL for guidance on complex situations.
- Drive execution of projects using Danaher Business System (DBS) tools such as VPM, VSM, Daily Management, and Action Plans, as well as fundamental tools like AI (Copilot, etc.), Smartsheet, Miro, and Microsoft suite. Apply problem-solving principles to resolve critical issues.
- Displays a mindset and language of continuous improvement and recommends changes using objective analysis (PSP, Kaizen). Actively assess current processes for improvement opportunities; propose and implement improvements to standard work based on experience.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering field with preference for 3+ years of program management experience, or an advanced degree (PhD or MD) in a biological science with preference for 9+ years of experience; PMP certification preferred and willingness to obtain PMP certification if not currently certified.
- Experience across the full new product development lifecycle from concept through commercial execution, including generation of integrated evidence to support sales.
- Proven track record delivering programs in a fast-paced, matrixed corporate environment while managing multiple competing priorities and stakeholders.
- Ability to synthesize complex information with strong attention to detail and apply both strategic and tactical thinking as needed.

The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $150,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
