Job Description:City University is seeking a Program Manager for our MBA and Executive MBA (EMBA) programs. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape graduate business programs that serve working professionals while bringing current business practices and industry perspectives into the student experience.
Reporting to a Program Director, the Program Manager provides academic and program leadership across assigned MBA and EMBA program areas. The role combines curriculum and program development, faculty support, student engagement, teaching, and academic service.
What You'll Do- Support the development, review, and enhancement of MBA and EMBA programs, ensuring curriculum remains current, relevant, and aligned with CityU's academic model and accreditation standards.
- At the direction of the Program Director, serve as a subject matter expert and academic lead for assigned courses and program components.
- Teach three courses per year, or the equivalent within the role's compensation structure.
- Provide guidance and support to teaching faculty to promote excellence in teaching, learning, and student engagement.
- Support students throughout their academic journey through mentoring, coaching, and assistance with academic and course-related concerns.
- Monitor student engagement and progress, identify students who may be at risk, and develop proactive strategies to support retention and completion.
- Conduct regular student check-ins and create opportunities for student connection and engagement beyond the classroom.
- Contribute to academic governance through participation in councils, committees, and other institutional activities.
- Stay current with business, technology, and industry trends and incorporate relevant perspectives into curriculum and teaching.
- Build and participate in professional communities related to business and the role's areas of expertise.

- Earned doctorate in business or a closely related business discipline.
- At least five years of professional experience in business or a related industry setting, preferably with experience in the Puget Sound business community.
- At least two years of experience working in or with international or culturally diverse business environments.
- At least two years of teaching experience, preferably including both in-person and online instruction.
- Knowledge of current and emerging technology trends and their impact on business.
- Ability to address academic concerns and support student retention and success.
- Ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a creative, fast-paced environment.
- Experience working effectively with virtual teams and in online environments.
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse students, faculty, staff, and external communities.
- Ability to represent CityU and the School of Business and Management professionally.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning management systems.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience teaching graduate-level business courses, particularly MBA or EMBA courses.
- Experience working with adult learners and working professionals.
- Experience in curriculum development, program assessment, or academic program leadership.
- Experience working in higher education, particularly in an online or hybrid environment.
- Professional experience with a global or multinational organization.

Salary information:$85,000 - 90,000/ DOE
