Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to support the WW Credit Card fraud vertical. In this role, you will own the global strategy for monitoring Credit Card fraud prevention and bad debt mitigation programs across the retail portfolio. You will operate at the intersection of fraud prevention, regulatory compliance (e.g., PSD2/TRA), and customer experience, ensuring Amazon maintains trust and minimizes payment risk losses across global markets.
Key job responsibilities
Own fraud and bad debt performance within the WW credit card portfolio, monitoring loss rates against VP-level goals and driving corrective action when metrics breach targets.
Develop and maintain fraud prevention mechanisms across the retail and digital cohorts including chargeback, ATO, and account-level fraud controls.
Investigate emerging fraud modus operandi (MO), size the loss exposure, and partner with data science and engineering to close detection and prevention gaps.
Drive weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews (WBR/MBR/QBR), leading with the key loss metric and surfacing loss drivers, gaps, and mitigation plans.
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across Payment Risk, engineering, data science, and partner teams to deliver fraud mitigation roadmaps.
Define and track guardrails for launches and dial-up decisions, balancing fraud exposure against revenue and customer experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
