We are seeking a highly strategic, execution-oriented Program Manager to lead complex, multi-million-dollar initiatives across our Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance portfolio. In this role, you will oversee a dynamic program consisting of 5 to 10 active projects spanning multiple product lines (e.g., Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, Specialty) and core platforms (e.g., Policy Administration, Billing, Claims, Digital Agent/Policyholder Portals). The ideal candidate is a master of managing interdependencies, an exceptional communicator capable of bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams, and a strategic partner focused on driving business growth, executive alignment, and high-quality, profitable delivery. Req# [redacted] Responsibilities Multi-Project Governance: Lead and orchestrate a portfolio of 5-10 highly complex, concurrent projects from inception through post-implementation Cross-Platform Alignment: Manage integration points and interdependencies across legacy systems, cloud architectures, and modern core insurance platforms (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, Salesforce, or proprietary systems) Dependency & Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate program-level risks, bottlenecks, and cross-project dependencies to ensure seamless delivery Resource Optimization: Oversee cross-functional resource allocation (developers, business analysts, QA, underwriters, and external vendors) to maximize efficiency and prevent project collision Business Partnership: Act as the primary liaison between IT and key business units (Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, Finance, Product, and Sales/Distribution) Executive Presence: Translate highly technical and complex project details into clear, strategic executive summaries C-Suite Reporting: Regularly present program health, milestone achievements, financial status, and strategic ROI metrics to the executive leadership team (C-suite, VPs, and Steering Committees) Change Management: Champion change management strategies to ensure high adoption rates of new platforms and processes among internal business users and external agent networks P&L Ownership: Manage the overall program budget (capital and operational expenses), ensuring maximum return on investment (ROI) Cost & Value Tracking: Monitor project spend against baselines, identify variances early, and implement corrective actions to keep the program profitable and on-budget Vendor & Contract Management: Oversee third-party system integrators (SIs) and software vendors, ensuring they deliver on time, within scope, and under contracted financial terms High-Quality Delivery: Ensure that all projects within the program adhere to rigorous quality gates, automated testing standards, and security protocols Regulatory Compliance: Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all new product lines, platform features, and data handling processes comply with state insurance departments, NAIC guidelines, and data privacy laws Continuous Improvement: Standardize project delivery methodologies (Agile, SAFe, or Hybrid) across teams to elevate software delivery standards Speed-to-Market: Accelerate the launch of new P&C products and features, directly contributing to premium growth and market competitiveness Value Realization: Identify opportunities to leverage technology for operational efficiency (e.g., straight-through processing in underwriting, claims automation) to lower the combined ratio Future-Proofing: Actively contribute to the strategic roadmap by identifying emerging tech solutions (such as AI, predictive analytics, or telematics) that align with future business growth Requirements 7+ years of progressive project and program management experience, including 3+ years dedicated to the P&C Insurance industry Proven track record of simultaneously managing programs of 5-10 projects with budgets exceeding $10M+ Demonstrated experience managing complex system integrations and data migration projects Expertise in standardizing project delivery methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, or Hybrid across teams Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements, including state insurance departments, NAIC guidelines, and data privacy laws Skills in identifying opportunities to leverage technology for operational efficiency, such as straight-through processing and claims automation Nice to have Background in P&C insurance processes, including Underwriting, Policy Lifecycle, Claims Processing, Billing, and Reinsurance Hands-on experience with modern core insurance suites such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, or Majesco Familiarity with digital portal deployments
