The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time
Program Manager supporting our Occupancy Management business unit, working closely with senior leaders in the federal government to drive organizational strategy and execute mission-critical program management. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with at least 10 or more years of progressively responsible program, real estate, or portfolio management experience. They must also have 5 or more years supporting large or complex real estate organizations. This position will be responsible for the overall performance, work integration, staffing, quality control, risk management, and coordination with the Government.
Responsibilities:- Tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for ensuring that quality work products are produced within timeframes established by the Contract, the performance work statement, and Contracting Officials.
- Serve as the focus of interface between government personnel for specific work teams.
- Coordinate the operation and management of assigned programs according to specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Regularly communicate with customers/clients to arrange meetings, confirm program schedules, and discuss any program problems.

- Regularly communicate with management regarding the program's status and any problems or potential problems.
- Forecast potential schedule delays and develop alternate plans.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships based on credibility, trust, and expertise.
Notice $145,000-$170,000 Skills & Requirements
Required Experience & Skills - Experience managing multidisciplinary professional services teams.
- Demonstrated experience with federal sector real estate programs.
- Experience supporting multi-tenant office portfolios or facilitates exceeding 500,000 square feet.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience managing Department of Commerce contracts a plus.
- Experience with Predictive Index a plus.
