Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity at the Department of State! The Program Control Analyst works in the Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure we manage the operations and complete required deliverables to support the customer’s mission to provide IT services to DoS users enterprise wide.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • The principal requirement for this role is to develop, plan, manage, improve and execute the Project Management Plan (PMO).
  • This includes executing all functions required to plan, assess, execute, report, and update all functions within the PMP.
  • You will assist with the: Configuration/Change Management (C/CM) Plan, Stakeholder Management Plan, Communication Plan, Performance Management Plan, Disaster Recovery (DR) Plan, and the Capacity Management Plan (CMP).
  • The Program Control Analyst will be instrumental in providing financial data collection, analysis, projection planning, advisory services and assistance in travel coordination for all operational elements of this effort.

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The following are the education and experience required for this position:

  • 6+ years
  • Bachelor's in IT or related field
  • Secret Security Clearance 

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certification(s) 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:   

    • Sitting for long periods
    • Standing for long periods
    • Ambulate throughout an office
    • Ambulate between several buildings
    • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
    • Repeatedly lift and carry weight up to 40 pounds
    • Travel by land or air transportation 10 % .
