Banco Sabadell is seeking aProfitability Analyst candidate to join a dynamic team within one of the fastest growing banks in Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for preparation of certain regulatory and management reports including:
• Bank's Liquidity report distributed to Head Office, Senior Management and internal distribution.
• Capital Equivalency Report
• Asset Maintenance Report
• Weekly/Monthly Assets, Liabilities and Assets under Management report by account, business unit, customer and officer.
• Responsible for maintaining financial datamart, ensuring that the database is updated regularly, including adjustments and reconciliation with financial figures.
• Assist in the preparation of profitability reporting for the organization, including Business Unit, banker, client and product reporting:
• Responsible for the preparation of the Income Generated by Business Unit and Portfolio report.
• Responsible for maintaining the fees and operating expenses tracking for profitability reporting.
• Assist in the calculation of FTP
• Develop Excel tools to assist employees in the reporting process.
• Assist in the improvement of processes within the department using technological tools to create efficiencies and improve accuracy.
• Assist manager in complex research and analysis to provide senior management with analytical/technical support related to the bank's financial reporting and critical financial management issues.
• Participate in project teams as needed. (i.e. - implementation of Invoice Management System, implementation of Expense Control Management system, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years of financial expertise in Profitability, Transfer Pricing modeling and analysis mainly USA
• Extensive experience in financial management for a bank or related financial services environment, preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish).
• Strong understanding of financial information and accounting policies.
• Experience with database reporting
