We provide real-time, actionable data to enhance security across various environments. As we expand, we're looking for a Production Test Engineer to play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes and systems through all stages of the product lifecycle.
Location: This position is onsite in the East Syracuse, NY office.
Responsibilities:- Develops and leads PCA and System level test plans and fixtures, qualifying product and manufacturing requirements
- Provides troubleshooting and technical support for production activities
- Develops and maintains manufacturing work instruction methods, operation sequences, and processes from creation to release via the change control processes
- Analyzes processes, production data, and quality indicators using statistical methods to determine root causes and improves workflows with corrective and preventive actions
- Qualifies test fixtures and equipment to ensure accurate result to requirements
- Utilizes lean principles to formulate and implement strategies that streamline operations, improves productivity, and reduces manufacturing cost
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams and coordinates new product releases
- Performs time studies and estimates manufacturing costs; provides and executes solutions for relevant tooling and process improvements
- Performs process validation and qualification activities
- Creates and maintains process documentation and production work instructions for new and existing products
- Investigates and resolves production, quality, and equipment issues

Required Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (Electrical preferred)
- 3+ years of experience, some exposure to a manufacturing or related environment required
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Python Scripting/Programming
- Ability to interpret and navigate mechanical CAD drawings, 3D models, and schematics
- Experience with tooling and fixtures for testing RF and digital printed circuit board assemblies (Spectrum Analyzers, Power Supplies, Signal Generators)
- Knowledge of PCBA (RF and Digital), wire/cable, and final assembly processes
- Ability to travel 10%
Preferred Qualifications: - Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification preferred
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems, preferably TIP QA/SFE

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is estimated at $94,000 to $114,000 annually. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
